The ECONOMOU GROUP of Companies was founded by the late Constantine Economou in Constanza, Romania in 1920.
  Since the beginning, the Group has been active in the shipping services sector, including ship supplies, crewing, ship repairs and travel services as well as being a shipping and forwarding agency, which remains the major part of our today's business.
  After the WWII and establishment of communism in Romania, the company was forced to cease operating in Romania, and in 1950 resumed its activities in Piraeus, Greece.
  Today E.I.S.A. offers all-covering agency and forwarding services in Eastern Mediterranean, countries of Black Sea basin and Russia through its branches in Piraeus, Constanza, Varna, Istanbul, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Krasnodar, Odessa, Ilyichevsk, Mariupol, Sevastopol.
